Which Front Anti-Sway bar kit?

Planning on a major front end rebuild on my 1969 Plymouth B-body.

Doing a disc conversion at the same time.

Car does not have a bar now and just want to make it feel a little more secure at higher speeds when I get it there. Mainly a cruiser.

Who sells the most economical front bar for these B-Bodys? Any issue with the discs?

I got mine from a factory car for a sweet deal, maybe you can find a setup like that. Made a huge difference when cornering.

Check Firm Feel, they have kits for what your doing. I went with SSBC all the way round on the brakes and stock suspension up front. They also make a very nice rear swaybar setup, I'll be putting that back in after the car returns.

Did you mean a used bar? Like a Roadrunner of the same vintage?

I guess I can look around for that - didn't give it much thought.

Yep, a used setup was great for me. Cheap, and I knew it would bolt in without needing mods. And was a very nice improvement in handling

I bought a K frame from a 69 GTX with a sway bar attatched. The mounts have to be split to remove it. I still have it and would sell cheap. (PM me) I used Firm Feel, best bar I have ever installed

Economical? May not be a factory bar unless you find someone who really wants to ditch it. I've seen lots of those for sale for more than they are worth because so many feel they are original, therefore valuable. Plus they are not real big, 7/8 or 15/16 max.

The best value would be a solid bar in 1 1/8 diameter. With careful shopping, you should be able to pick up a used one for under a $100. Even if you have to pick one up new, you can get them for around $150.

Pretty much decided on Addco front and rear bars for this car, hard to beat less than $250 for both bars shipped to my FLA address.

Apparently the guys there say they have improved there hardware kits...I guess we will see.

Since I am doing a disk converstion at the same time, will I need to mount calipers to rear?

I already have 73 Ebody pin calipers ready to bolt up, can I rear mount those or do I need to replace?

I'd wait and see where the sway bar links land on the lower control arm before mounting the brakes. The brake hose routing will be much easier if you front mount them like they are supposed to be. Look at the bottom of your k frame, and see if it has notches in the bottom so the sway bar will pass thru the k frame like a 70 Roadrunner or any E body. If it does, use a sway bar like that and front mount you calipers with no problems. You may get lucky, as some later 69 k frames had 70 bottoms on them from the factory. Good luck.

I think all bars listed for 1969 B go under the K member, who makes one that goes through it? or would that be a '70 piece?
