There's the Hooker 5208 fenderwells, Harolds' underchassis spitfires are no longer being made. Might check out www.forabodiesonly.com & see what's for sale

I remember installing a pair of fenderwall headers on my 66 Formula S 25 years ago. Don't do it! The steering travel was so limited, it was next to impossible to drive on the street.

hooker makes a set of fenderwells, headman used to also (may still make them) but you have to hack the hell out of your fenderwells.

spitfires were a nice set up but not sure harold still makes them. they do pop up on the net from time to time for sale. laysons (the crooks) also sell or atleast used to sell the spitfire design at over double the price of harolds. good luck recieving your headers from either though.. order COD if you can. do not send money to either place without the part sitting in your hand.

dougs make a nice fitting header for the early a-body

tti also make a set of early a headers. tti are bigger tube and collectors then the dougs headers but are a bear to fit in those little cars.

bottom line, you want to play with an early a-body then prepare to have to spend money.

Layson's had a tent at Moultrie (Ga.) last weekend; had a set of Spitfires on display priced at $485.

Doug's headers for the early A's won't clear a 727 torqueflite, and I don't think they will fit a 4-speed with a 10.5" bellhousing, either.

IIRC the Magnum truck manifolds work in the early A. Good compromise for a street engine.

Howdy Tennesseean!
