Dodge Techs - 2012 Challenger & 3.6 VVT - 11/19/12 05:48 PM

I'm considering a chellenger with one of these for the wife. It is sporty, fairly economical, and makes her smile.

Anyone have any feedback or comments on these?

I have never owned anything with MDS or VVT and would appreciate some reviews.

Thanks!

I just saw a review on line and they loved the fact that there was over 300 hp and decent mileage with the 6 cylinder. They do look cool!

I recently bought a 2012 Rallye Redline edition. I love it and it makes me smile every time I drive it! That model is only equipped with the 3.6 engine. I did a lot of soul searching before I bought this car. (I WANTED a Hemi, but I didn't NEED a Hemi.) I am very satisfied with it. The 3.6 handles the car very well and the car doesn't feel 'heavy' at all. The Rallye Redline package includes the 3.06 ratio rear axle which I definately recommend if you live in a hilly area like I do. It's only a $100 option on a regular SXT. The 3.6 doesn't require premium fuel, either.
Here is a pic of my car just before I drove it off the showroom floor.
