Hi all!

Need to know where i can buy yellow sealed beam headlights? Dont want to use paint..

Im looking for both hi beam and lo beam lamps,for a 70 challenger..

let me know ii you have any suggestions..

searched at bulbtown who uses to be a good bulbs resource for all applications, and only got back this:

I looked for those about 2 years ago. At that time I could not find a low beam. For the high beam I found the 4412A mentioned above, however it has screw terminals not the blade type, so you will need to make adapter wires so it will plug into the headlamp connector. I see you are in Sweden, but I would think your local auto parts store could get you the 4412A bulbs.

Or just by the film off Ebay. Really cheap.

Why Yellow? Anything but clear will diminish the amount of light for use.

personally, i'm going for the look only...i don't drive my RR at night anyway...

No practical reason to do it. It's just a retro-cool thing.

Do be careful with some of those lamps out there though. They may not have a suitable beam pattern for on-highway use.

That's why I suggest the film. Works over DOT/FMVSS legal lamps.

We did that years ago on our Challenger...they still look great.

The yellow headlights in the day were for fog lights. They weren't worth a darn as brights just dims. If I remember correctly running them as brights was illegal becasuse they didn't give off the right kind and pattern of light.
