Am I screwed trying to find pitman arm for a 67 B box? - 09/22/12 04:55 AM
I wanted to replace my idler arm/pitman arm and three remaining tie rods I didn't bother with when I fixed critically bad stuff in the suspension a year ago, but apparently 67 and earlier steering boxes have a smaller output size and nobody makes pitman arms for them? They aren't listed on rockauto and O'Reilly and everybody's listings display some ridiculous $220 part. Doesn't anybody make a reasonable $40-60 pitman arm like you can get for any 70-something Mopar or are they just that uncommon now?

Put in a later steering box... Having Firm Feel rebuild one is a great plan...

Steer and Gear in Columbus Ohio can repair/rebuild them. I think it's about $70

Espo sells them for less I think, plus all your other suspension parts.

Rick Ehrenberg on this board sells Moog ones. I bought one for my 1971 Superbee and my friend picked one up from him for his 1966 satellite. They were pretty cheap too ($70.00 + shipping I think)
