R4 red Dupont paint number

Does anyone know the DuPont number for 1969 Cuda R4 red?

The # shown in my '69 DuPont color chart is 4959LH in Lucite and 4959DH in Dulux; those were names given the 2 paint lines they had, I think Lucite was lacquer & Dulux was enamel. Most likely your paint jobber will have to cross-reference to an updated #.

4959 remains as the color code for DuPont only the last letter changes for quality.
4959A is for Centari.

Call 1-800-338-7668 option 3 option 1 for DuPonts Color Library. They will give you a closest match. Then do a spray out to verify. Colors varied from plant to plant and year to year. So check before you get too far.
