Help with 2000 LHS front end noise - 07/25/12 11:47 PM

Front left makes a continuous grinding/scrapping noise but stops when the wheel is barely turned left or right. Just changed the wheel/hub bearing 2 weeks ago. Any ideas? Brake pads don't look that bad.

Dust shield behind the rotor?

Just jacked it up and checked grabbed the tire at 9-3 to check for play and it has a LOT.

I don't know about the 2000s, but check rack mount bushings, inner tie rod ends, engine cradle bushings, etc.

Didn't put the proper torque on that new hub bearing?

Sounds like it could be a front wheel bearing.
