Polishing wheel lip trim - 05/22/08 02:09 PM

I've heard Easyoff over cleaner wrapped in plastic overnight removed the anodozing, then just polish with chrome polish etc? Any and all tips will be humbly accepted!

I use simichrome polish and #000 steel wool

Although I'm not aware any of the B or A body ones I've seen were anodized.

I've never left the lye on that long... I'd be concerned about it would eat away the base metal. I apply Easy-Off, leave it to bubble up a few minutes and rinse it off and reapply as needed. Several applications and some elbow grease will remove all the anodizing
