As the 4736 holly is apparently impossible to find, i need a good replacement. 383, 0.30 over, mild cam, no intake yet not sure on that either. Any ideas people?

If you don't care about gas mileage go with the Holley 750 vacuum secondary with electric choke. Great carb and performance for a 383.

That is a kickass setup on a 383 HP w/ headers. Make the 750 a 3310.
You MIGHT also look at the 625 or 650 Demon carb that is a new model TQ style.
