2003 Grand Caravan ES AWD with starting problem.

Hi guys. Hope someone can help.
When I start the van I hear a fast ticking sound in the area of the radio/ heater control on the center dash console.
It ticks real fast then the engine just stops. To start the engine again I have to remove the key and start it again.
Sometimes the ticking starts again with the same engine result, sometimes it stops ticking and the engine runs fine.
Anyone know what is going on?

what i would do is disconnect the battery to reboot the computers...

Did that with no change.
Next I am going to pull the radio and try to locate the sound more closely.

Sorry Jules. I don't remember if there was anything behind the center dash area that would be ticking or causing an engine shutdown

Best I can remember the only thing behind the radio is the heater box ??????

It's coming from the heater control unit.
I took the console panel off and started the motor.
The clicking comes straight from the heater module.
What I did so far is unplug the 2 plugs going to the module, checked the terminals
and plug them back on.
So far all works well again.
