2 hook up distributor?

hi,

putting together a basic 318 '74 vintage. i have a 4145753 distributor from 80-84, no vac advance. it also has 2 separate plug-ins. will this work in my '74? or should i get another?

don't know anything about small blocks but i do know if it does fit, without vac adv on the street it will be very doggish. i'd ditch it.

That is a distributor from a car with LEAN BURN , I don't think it has any mechanical advance. Don't try to use it .

Yep sounds like its the one with 2 pick-up coils that they used a few years on lean burn. Get another dist for sure. Ron
