Scan Tool "Screw"

Last week I ordered a scan tool from Summit Racing.I needed it to diagnose a problem in my 90 W-250.The Can OBD 2&1 Tool kit from Inovva Model 3120 arrived in just a couple of days.Put it on the truck to see what was causing the check engine light to come on.I was feeling pretty proud of myself,a couple of days prior to ordering it,I was in O,Reilly Auto parts and noticed they had the same tool for pretty much the same price...Well,lo and behold,last night I was in my local farm supply store chain {Fleet Farm},as I was walking down the automotive aisle,I saw the same tool for $60.00 dollars less..... What,s going on here???? Anybody else have a similiar experience?????This ain,t right!!!!

Before I buy any tool, I check Ebay-both current and past auctions, craigslist, a few stores like Sears, Amazon, etc.

You'd be surprised how much difference there can be on prices!

For example, I just looked into a 20volt Lithium Ion Dewalt cordless sawzall w/o battery/charger - I don't need them since I already have them.

I checked 4-5 places and Ebay has them for $99.00 shipped! The cheapest by about $80. If I went to Home Depot, that same saw is $179! Then add another $10 in sales tax!

My momma told me...you better shop around!!!

You might call Summit and see if they can refund the price difference.

Many of your bigger stores like Summit can and will match others prices.

Worth a shot.
