Okay stupid question, car I am working on (67 Belvedere) came with a new auto carpet but I am putting a four speed hump for future upgrades once the Mrs. gets use the car, it is a family NSS race car.
Wondering if with some forming I can make it fit decently to the 4spd hump.

You can if you leave a big hole in it. Carpets are cheap, just buy the correct one. You could always sell the one you have now.

When we converted our Dart to a 4-speed we managed to make the auto carpet work. Refolding, a bit of stretching. No console either.
We did it because the auto carpet was new and it seemed a shame to change it out.
It would be ideal to just get the 4-speed carpet.

Worked fine in my 87 Diplomat, for which there is no factory 4 speed. Nor did I use a console. All you can do is try it and see, it it'll work great, if not you'll know before you cut any holes in it.
