Hey Folks,

I'm installing a dash reverse light into my 69 Roadrunner. It's an original 4spd car and the light is present, but not hooked up. I've looked over the wiring diagrams but they seem to run around in circles. What's a direct way to wire this? I know there's a 2 prong switch on the transmission, so would that be basically one wire is switched 12V and the other wire runs to the light? When reverse is engaged, the switch closes the circuit? Just want the light to work and not sure if the original wires are burried in the harness somewhere, but I can't seem to find any missing connections. Would hooking it up that way work or is it wired differently? Thanks!

Cheers

I think it is as simple as you suggest. Here's a wiring diagram.

As I said, I have the wiring diagram. Just can't make any sense out of it! I would think it's just like any other interrupter switch wiring. I'll try it and see I guess.

Cheers
