Got my Autolite plugs. One set of 3910 and one set of 3911. Autolite tech guy said that they are pre gapped at 25 and to leave it there. Seems awful tight. What do you all think?

418 CU SB
Aluminum heads
12.7-1 compression
112 race fuel

Thanks
Chuck

All of the 3911 and 3910 I have bought and used had .035 from the factory, I gap mine at .045 for pump gas and using a MSD 7 ignition with the proper coil for the race boxes

Whatever Autolite says is probably the correct answer. I'm quite sure they have much much more test equipment and dyno time than all of us put together.

A really smart Pro Stock engine builder told me that some time ago.

I think my NGK's are .028 out of the box. R5671's..
