I'm constantly amazed by what I find on the internet of the interest in U.S. muscle cars "over there." Must be an incredible challange to get parts and so on.

So what do they do for gas (petro). Do the gas stations have different octains like we do in the states. No lead gas? Do they put in new valve seats? What do you have to go through to run a musclecar or hotrod around the EU? Thanks for the pics.

Is there a website for that particular car show for next time? I would love to get there and be in attendance....Are all the cars of Stockholm? I would love to drive the Charger up there but I dont think I would be brave enough to put it on a boat...

I can only speak for down in Greece...but we have standard 95 unleaded at the pump, 95 LRP (Leaded Racing Petrol) and 100 Super LRP. I run 95 on my Charger since its an upgrade from the 91 it was designed for from the states. I dunno what it takes to run around the EU, but if you find a classic car in the country you are in and the license plates are grandfathered by old laws, you can drive it every day. I however, since I brought it from L.A. this year was forced to go under Historical Plates, which means I am under restriction as to the time of day it can be driven and where I can go. I cant go downtown (nor would I want to) at 3pm on a wednesday. I CAN go to the car shows, beaches, hop around town for a quick run anytime I want as long as its between the hours of sunrise and sunset, which now....its 645am to 9pm...Cops dont really hassle you here unless you do something stupid. Later on this month I am going with my friend and his 71 Challenger to our version of Sunset Blvd and terrorize some people. Everytime we go down there in regular cars we see a Ferrari, a Porsche, a Viper, or some whacked out tuner...We wanna harass em and blow some eardrums out.

Thanks for the kind words guys, more pics coming up in a moment! Regarding octane levels we have 95 and 98 octane unleaded but I can't remember how that translates to the US classification. I think it is pretty much the same you have at the pump? The legislation varies quite a lot inside the EU regarding modified cars Sweden being among the most liberal. Here is the website for the meet; http://www.bigmeet.com/Pyper, no need for you to put your car on a ferry anymore as they built this huge bridge from Denmark to Sweden; http://www.worldgreatestsites.com/oresund_bridge.htmThe cars are from all of Sweden and about 20 European countries. The meet is very international. I think there was once an American dude with his own car even! Would be a pretty cool ride from Greece! There is another meet you might consider though, the biggest MoPar meet in Sweden at Orsa during the Classic Car Week in Rättvik. Lots of activities during a whole week and there are caravans of muscle Mopars coming from Stockholm and Malmö (your way). Check these out; http://www.mopardudes.se/usa.asphttp://www.classiccarweek.com/ (only in swedish) Hans
