In my search for a correct 1970 Challenger Rear valance w/ cutouts, everyone who contacts me has a newer valence. Does anyone have good pics of both front and back for a correct 1970 Challenger rear valance w/ cutouts? The valance needs to be off of the car of course!

Thanks!

71 rear valance is not the same as 70. I have a 70 here without the exhaust cutouts, but unfortunately that's not what he's looking for pics of.

In comparing the two valances, I first notice that there is no center bracket for support in the 70 model, also it appears the side brakcets just outside the cutouts seem to be different. Any other apparant differences between the 70 and the 71 and later?

Maybe we should go over the whole thing here real quick...

How many different rear valances are there for a challenger?

70 only with & without dual exhaust cutouts

71-72 with & without dual exhaust cutouts

73-74 with & without dual exhaust cutouts

Any of them could be made to fit any year challenger, but for those of us who care...
What are the differences/How to tell them apart?

I'll give this antique a bump. I bought a valance with cutouts at Carlisle. Plan to use it on my 70 Challenger. And without it in front of me, I don't recall if it has the center bracket.

It will fit, there won't be a hole for the screw that goes in the center bracket... I add one...

I'll look for an OEM hole on eBay and have it welded in ;-)
