I use one to remove water for sandblasting and it works fine, even in humid Michigan. Anybody using this as their sole means for removing water for painting in their garage? Should I go better $$$!!!? Recommendations? I'm on a low budget but atleast I have a budget

That it'll be fine, as long as the air is cool when it get's to the dryer so it can work. That small regulator seems to be not enough volume for sand blasting. imo Should be good for painting.

where i work. they use sharpe water separators like the one in the pic.
i would recommend using just using a filter before the spray gun. they have paper similar to toilet paper inside them to catch water. i don't know the brand name we use at work. they are orange and have both male and female threads built into them that break easily. they are about $10 each at the paint store.

i found what we use on ebay.
