On my way home from a show, my fuel pump started to vibrate and rattle the lines. Pretty significantly, I just filled the tank with 103 fuel from the track a couple weeks back. Does it sound like the pump has some internal damage? I have a large canister filter. Are these pumps rebuildable? Thanks in advance. Henry

maybe you should do a static flow test where you can hear what is going on and test the flow, flush the system in the same test.i never had a peoblem with my 140 that took me to mid 10,s/129.

Do a flow test... with the noise... something changed...
could even be loose on the mounts

Could be cavitation... try it with a cool fuel system or check for a inlet restriction

It's a pretty simple machine. Pull it apart, check the brushes in the motor, impeller in the pump, etc. FWIW, mine sounded different at idle than cruise.

That would be a voltage difference (most likely)
