Looks like the headers ought to do a real good job of heating the inlet air to and from the intercooler.Especially when the engine cover is all closed up.

I bet it flies. No weight to speak of and tons of potential.

I'm sure we'd have a whole bunch of people pointing out what I did wrong on any of my builds if they were posted in such detail.... so I sure don't want to be too critical of any of it.

I will say though that those turbos will not like it when they ingest the foam from those air filters. Been there done that! There's lots of things about that build that I personally would do differently, but we all have to learn somehow. You know full well it will be a BLAST to drive! Thanks for posting that!

He's gonna have some real problems running those wastegates with the flow in the wrong direction.

I think its an awesome ride....but why not build a 6.0 LS based motor with a kenne belle or a set of twins? Could have saved the guy thousands, been less exotic, and ran fine on pump premium. Why the tricked out kinsler setup if your going to hide it with that huge plenum I guess when money is no object things can get out of hand lol

I dunno..I'm no expert, but it seems it could have been done much better and w/o as much pipe? Am I wrong?

Yeah I agree it is not well setup. I would have done a air to water intercooler built into the top side of the manifold with one inlet. I always wanted to build one of those cars or a cobra...

Good catch....the build is so old according to the page you would have thought they'd have started it and realized that by now.

I found it interesting how they put the forced air into the top of the airbox on the intake.

the correct way with twins is to blow them at each other when entering the plenum

You mean like this:

Been on the PowerTour the past 4 years and it's always there. Very tight efficient looking setup.
Not to crap on that setup pictured above, but wouldn't there be a ton of force trying to rip that big flat top off at 15psi with all the surface area there?

Lots of things we could say were done 'wrong' (Trendz comment made me review pics of mine to make sure my wastegate was installed corrctly!), but I think that's a beauty of turbo stuff. Even a less-than-ideal installation still works, apparently.

For me, I think getting cool outside air to the turbos would reduce teh need for that intercooler, and reduce a lot of plumbing that is probably working as an interheater (as 67 Satellite mentioned).
