Hi guys,

Could you please give good advice about plunge cut of cast iron 906 heads?
How deep the cut should be and correct angle?

On my 915's I cut a 75* angle .590 deep but I did it on a cnc machine and used a circular interpolation cycle to hit my dia. I left .015 of 45* per side of land to the valve contact area. Did the same with the 30* blend to the chamber. I have read that some run 80* but that would get to close to water for me, the 75* left a good notch in the bowl to blend. I can post a pick when I get home.
