I am soon to order a new KB water Hemi block and understand that several options exist for head studs & would appreciate opinions.

7/16 - 1/2 - 9/16...?

On my application , which will be blown street motor not seeing more than 15psi, any benefits/disadvantages in going to the largest stud size? final Bore size will be 4.310 to keep some meat between cylinders for better long term gasket sealing,. would you o-ring a street motor? or just good composite gasket?

help appreciated

We use 1/2 head studs for our blower builds. Our next build a 540" Hemi for Donny's 65 Dodge will use Cometic gaskets instead of our usual copper and O-ring/reciever groove setups.
