Fellas -

I have a few 14 x 5.5 Magnum 500's from one of my AMX's. Looks like Mopar was the only one that used this size, right?

I have two of them with the painted outer portion and one with the chrome outer portion.

Here are the codes/markings:

14 x 5 1/2 JJ Other markings are K 3 MI(with "9" underneath) H 882

Looks like these were 1969 wheels, but that's about all I know. Any ideas on original application for a 14 x 5.5 JJ?

Other ones are:

14 x 5 1/2 JK other markings 841C M4 (with "7" underneath) - assume these are 1967 wheels? Any ideas on original application for a 14 x 5.5 JK?

Thanks,

Scott

They were available aftermarket in 14x5.5" wide but Chrysler was the only manufacturer to use 5.5" wide from the factory.

M1/9 = M-Motor Wheel Corp. 1-Plant #1 9-1969 (black painted wheel "hoop") 1969-'70

M4/7 = M-Motor Wheel Corp. 4-Plant #4 7-1967 (chrome wheel "hoop") 1967-'68

Check the backside of the inside lip for more date code stampings. Are the center spokes all "satin" chrome?

The center spokes are all satin chrome.

Will check dates on the inside lip.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful.
