71 Cuda. How in the heck do you get the bolt head into these key holes? I have 2 types of J bolts, 90 degree and one with a slight angle. The heads are the same size though and I just cannot get them in these holes. I rotated the bolt 180 degrees and still won't go in. I'd hate to enlarge the hole or shave the heads.

If this is a tab that hangs down try putting it in from the threaded end.

Screw it I put the bolt to the grinder and made the top and bottom flat. Left the sides round and viola they fit securely.
