I am freshening my 512 RB now in my drag only car and wondering if I should restrict the oil to the heads/valve train now and how(tap jet in oiling hole)
Combination will be mechanical stack injection, Max Wedge Eddy heads by MCH, 14.5 comp., Comp Cams solid roller .693/.660 274/280 108 LS. RPM will stay around 7000

Is the motor set up to oil the rockers all the time now? If not don't worry about it, if so did you have any issue before? If not I wouldn't fix what ain't broken I had my roller cam grooved to oil the rockers on my Eddy headed stroker with Harland Sharps, I ended up using a #80 holley jet in the block on both sides to limit the oil supply after switching to the full roller Harland Sharp rocker asemblys I've got two other Indy headed motor with full time exteranal rocker oiling, one with T&D rockers and one with Harland Sharps rockers like the Eddy headed motor, I'm using a .039 restrictor in them and that seems to be plenty, but that is dyno time only so far

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Been running B1BS heads with T&D rockers with a set screw drilled with a .070 hole in the top of the block, no grooved cam for 8 years with no problems.
