I bought this car 11 years ago this month. Its been a long road. The majority of the work was done in the first 5 years. Body and paint, suspension, brakes and steering. The interior was the last thing to get done.

The money shot:
1974 440, bored .030 with a 4.15 stroke Eagle crankshaft. Manley rods, Ross pistons. Edelbrock heads, TTI headers. MP '509 cam, Performer RPM intake, BG 850 VS carb. MP electronic ignition.
I just had the motor out to install fresh rings and bearings. I'm going through everything again to ensure reliablity. I love the looks of these cars, and I want to drive this one more. Cars that look nice but run poorly are no fun.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.
The rims are made by Intro Wheel out of Monrovia CA. The fronts are 18x9 with 4 5/8 backspacing. Tires are 275-40-18. The rears are 18x10 with 4 5/8 backspacing with a 295-45-18. Tires are Nitto 555.
These wheels and tires are a like it or hate it thing for guys on this forum, thats for sure.

Thanks for the nice words guys.
I dont mind that there are some guys that dislike the big rims. I just think that people need to show some class and consideration when giving their opinions. You can say that you like something else better, say that the big wheels wouldnt be your first choice, THAT sort of thing. Dont be rude. I dont like FM3 Pink cars. I dont like Sublime or Curious Yellow either, but I am considerate of the ego of the car owner. If the car is done well, I can appreciate it no matter the color. I can be a tasteless jokester most of the time but I try to avoid being critical of a mans work.

I've had a few questions on the wheels lately, so I'll try to get out in front of any more.
The front tires, 275-40-18, sometimes rub on one occasion: When I am backing up, wheels turned and I roll off of a street curb the outer edge sometimes contacts the outer fender lip. The insides also rub, but against a flat spot of the framerail. No problem there. The rear tires are 295-45-18. They cleared fine until I lowered the car 1 1/2", then the outer edge rubbed the outer wheelhouse during bumps, but not bad. It was still enough to keep me from putting people in the back seat. I could have modified the wheels. The wheel company would have removed the wheel centers and pressed them into new "hoops". I dont remember the price but it was cheaper to have the 8 3/4" axle narrowed by 3/4" per side.
My advice to anyone that wants to fit the widest custom wheel in their car is to mount up a bare rim and start taking measurements. See where you can "add" width as compared to where the bare wheel sits. Thats what I did.
