No. Just disconnect the cables and vacuum hoses, unbolt 3 bolts from the firewall and IIRC, there is one or two brackets that attach to the dash. Pretty simple!

I think there are 2 brackets. Its been a while since I pulled the one from my parts car.Its a tigh fit getting it out but as said not bad.Just a lot of being upside down getting all the wiring out of the way.Rocky

The heater core is gone and in a crate. It was a smoooth operation! I have attach the rubber plugs at the firewall. Its room for a little person where the heater core was. I remove the speaker. Also when I was crawling there I took the time to remove the passenger side wiper. I attach the chrome delete knob/plate for the hole. The blower knob is gone and a chrome plug that I find is attach in the hole.
Slowly the car start more and more look like a Superstock car.
Must invert the passenger shock tower also, will be next step waiting for the elephant to be finish.
Cheers!

Yes correct, the tree rubber plugs is just for the holes where heater core box is bolted in the firewall. My car dident have any AC just one in- and outlet true the firewall. I will buy two 1" rubber plugs (other style than picture) for these holes.
