"I was kind of ticked she didn't have a ride for what should have been her second year of Racing ProStock."
There has to be more to the story. She's marketable, Connellys one of the best drivers, Jegs a proven winner, yet each of them won't/can't stay on board?????? With the business this has become, a driver has to contribute more than an ability to drive the car. The driver is the face of the team/sponsor and gets the majority of the attention and perhaps ego's get inflated or some internal envy develops. I'm sure each situation is unique. As with any sport, there has to be alot of "behind the scenes" day-to-day BS. Since racers don't have media in their face daily like professional athletes do, the "issues" with certain personalities are not public knowledge, be it with drivers, owners, drivers' fathers, or crew members.
