I love it It sort of reminds me of a 440 6 pack Gremlin that used to run the streets around here in the '80s.

The driveshaft is 6" long joint center to joint center.
That won't allow for much suspension travel will it? Is that with a shorty trans?
Kevin
I have run this for about 25 years without a problem. Still the original joint it was put together with. The driveshaft tube is just under 3". I don't drive it on the street but have driven some ruff return roads.
As long as the shaft is phased in right you should not have a problem. Quicktree is the expert on this board on that topic.
The civic looks like a lot of fun. That is what hotrodding is all about.

Whats with the 90 inch wheelbase question? Is that a minimum number to pass NHRA track tech?
Yep From talking to local racers I should be able to get by the first time.

Here's What I found: 4:12 WHEELBASE (Jan. 6, 2010) Minimum 85 inches, unless car has original engine in original location and is shorter than original, or noted in class requirements. Maximum wheelbase variation from left to right is 1 inch, unless otherwise noted in Class Requirements.
I'd call your divisional office and try to talk to a tech guy. If the car is otherwise safe, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Still looking, will be ordering new next week if I don't any thing used.
Fronts 15X3.5-4 with 4x4.25 bolt circle or 5x4.5 bolt circle(would have to change out the pinto rotors for bigger bolt circle)
Rears 15x10-12 with 3.75-4.5 back space and any bolt circle(will have to drill new bolt circle, mine is ford truck 5x5.5)

Looks like the seat is pretty close to the front... so your legs must be pretty bent... not very comfortable but its cool

I spy a predator carb in the first video.
Predator got changed to a Race Demon 1000cfm. Predator was strong on top or on the bottom, could not get tuned for both. I will be putting two predators on a tunnel ram for a rat rod truck with a 440.(next project)
