any chrysler radio from ~84-05 or so will plug in and fit fine.

Why would you have to cut up the dash? I have an Alpine in my 94, and will be swapping it out for a Kenwood this weekend. Any place that sells audio equipment will sell the dash adapter.

So tell me how do u like the fit&sound of your Kenwood?I'v been looking around on eBay with no luck  seems they have some for the 2000/up trucks  I guess I'm going to have to invest in a new radio(so much for the stock look).Anyone have pic's  of there aftermarket stereos in there 94-97 Rams.and by this truck being so old ,i don't think it would be a wise choice to invest in some one's else old radio that may work for 10 years or 10 days Thax..

Pioneer made a unit that bolts rite into the OE hole..
No kit required..
Its size was 1 1/2 din..
