I have attached a few pics of the questions I have. I have wiring that says it goes to the Right and Left Front Door Automatic Switch. What switch is this and where does it go? When I bought the car these wires were just taped up and didn't go to anything. Any help with these would be great. Also, where can I get a Headlamp on Warning Buzzer? Thanks for the help.

The whole story is not right there. Look through the pages 158 or so +/- down to about 164 +/- The switches are your door "dome light" switches, but depending on the options, they can be different switches. For instance, on one of those pages is the "open door indicator" and part of it has to do with the delay to turn off the ignition switch lighting.

Frankly, that end of things is a real can of worms. I'm not sure there's "any one page" that really lays it all out.

Those are the door switches in the frame of the door mounted to the body. They should have a plunger that goes to ground as the door opens. The first diagram showing the left side door shows 2 wires into the switch and one wire out. The 2 wires in are yellow (power) and black (ground I believe) and the last wire out (also yellow) goes to the dome light. As the door opens the plunger goes to ground connecting the circuit and powering the light.

The door switches are still quite common and available thru mancini, tony's, maybe even the local parts stores.

I think this is what your after right?

Yes that is what I was looking for. So I just contact Manini's or Tony's and ask for the Right and Left Door switches that operates the dome light. Thanks 71383bee.

Driver's side door jamb switch is a 3-pole grounding switch. one for the dome lamp circuit, one for the ign. switch lamp & lights on buzzer, and one for the key in the switch buzzer. The passenger side jamb switch is a two -pole pin switch with one circuit for the dome lamp and the other for the ign. switch lamp/lights on buzzer.
The lights on buzzer main harness lead is roughly right above where the radio is mounted. A short two-wire harness would plug into this lead and run towards the glove box where the lights-on buzzer would be mounted to the dash frame between the ash tray and grove box if so equipped.

They are very common still...don't let the age fool you into thinking that there are no parts out there. I just checked rockauto.com and they had 6 listed so I am sure you can get it at your local napa, O'Reilly, bumper to bumper etc.

Also don't worry about getting the exact make and model right too. these switches were in alot of mopars for alot of years and probably in other makes as well.

When I went to the auto parts store i would have fun and call out a different car every other time. Things like engine size are meaningless when you are looking for a door jam switch...so say its got a hemi!

Where does this bracket mount to? Is it on the backside of the dash or on the firewall? Thanks for the help.

Nacho do you have a pic from the Headlamp on Buzzer back to the wiring harness. I have the wedge looking Headlamp on buzzer wiring in above wiring diagram, but it doesn't connect to the L-Shape buzzer. So any help on tracing the wires back from the buzzer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Where does the wires from the Headlight On buzzer tie into? Are there jumper wires from the wedge shape plug above the radio that go to the buzzer or do they tie in elsewhere? Does anyone have that wiring available to sale? Thanks for the help.

the "wedged" plug simply gets an extra harness "extension" to get the buzzer... thats all, no more

just like were posted on this same thread by 72roadrunnergtx

Can be home made easily, the hardest part is try to find a "wedged" male plug. L shaped is not that hard since is the same that ALL AMERICAN CARS INDUSTRY turning and hazzard flashers use, and terminals are around at regular parts shops.

NOTE...

this same kind of plug is used to a harness runing underneath the carpet up to seatbelt retractors and seats sensors. This is not the harness what runs to this plug

The seatbelt sensor harness plugs on a same kind of wedged plug BUT containing blue wires, and located on driver side kick panel area

Maybe thats the confusion you are getting with an uncorrect harness for this purpouse
