chargervert OP I Live Here Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 15,995 RI Deep in the rust belt	A friend of mine has a 69 Dart GTS 383 4 speed car. He was looking on E bay for an oil pan for a 383 A body. He found an ad for a 66-72 C body pan,and the seller was claiming it would fit big block A bodies too. Does anyone know if it will fit? If it will does he need the pickup tube for that pan,or will the one on his 383 now work? If not what will? I think he said that the C body pan had a 699 number on it. Also is there a different pan for 383 a bodies verses 440 a bodies? cogen80 master C Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 5,337 the house on the left.	http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/tips.shtml the 699 is a preferred one for a big block abody. i believe it has a notch cut out of it that clears the steering nicely. .
