I am trying to determine if the proper flywheel for a 71 challenger 440-6 should be 10.5 or 11" ? Any help to clear this up is appreciated.

Have you purchased a bellhousing yet?
That will determine what flywheel you need.

Thanks. I was trying to determine what was origionally on the car. I believe the flywheel is supposed to be 10.5" from the factory?

130 tooth flywheel - 10.95 clutch (same bolt pattern as 10.5 clutch).

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I'm pretty sure 143-tooth 11" flywheels were retired after '69.
