Here at Wasserbeck Speed Shop we are building a few of these awesome engines and I thought that I'd share them with you all. One is a blown 392 for a Gezzer Gasser Willis which has a Bryant crank, Venolia pistons, Oliver rods, roller cam, and a beautiful set of Missile roller rocker arms. The second is a blown 354 for drag racing with mostly stock re-man parts but forged Ross pistons. And the third is a naturally aspirated 392 with forged Ross pistons for a rodder. I'll be posting some pics as the come along, hope you enjoy them.

Sounds sweet.

Could you post a couple more pics of that boring table aswell please?
A friend of mine has a similar cylinder bore, but not the table/stand. So he clamps/alignes the bore on the cylinder deck itself.
I'm sure he would like to see some pics of this setup of yours.

Yea we used to do it that way years ago. This is a Kwik-Way FH-384. It allows us to bore off of the mains instead of the deck. This way we can correct, or change, the cylinder angle.

Oh
How much does that rocker setup cost for the 392 on the last stand???
I am thinking of doing a blown 392 for my 36 coupe when I get to it.
Thanks David

Awesome, I would like to see the numbers when you are done. I can't wait to build my 392 one of these days. Thanks for the pictures.

Yea 69's, 392 rockers are pricey. Those are from Missile and cost $2525 plus $150 for the adjusters for a $2675 total. I went to the PRI show in Orlando and asked everyone and there are only a few options. DRE makes a set that are similar in cost. Then there are a few companies like Titan that are about $4000. I hope you consider us when you start your 392 (or any other) project.

Thanks, Carson

Robbins, I will definitely be posting some numbers. The 392 with the roller rockers is for competition so I may have to be more vage for the customer; however the other two are street rods / bracket race engines and I have permission to release the full numbers. I still have a few parts coming in from California so it will be in a few weeks. As I mentioned to "His and Her's 69's" I hope that you consider us for your next engine project.

Thanks, Carson
