Ramrod39 OP My New Title Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9,105 Tucson, AZ	OK guys, if you put a Milidon "7 quart" pan on your RB motor, add 7 quarts of oil and your universal dipstick from 440 source says you're still 1.5 to 2 quarts low, do you add more oil to reach the "full" mark on the stick or remark the stick?

goldmember master G Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 4,501 Gainesville,FL	Put as little in as possible as long as the pickup never gets uncovered. 7 quarts in a 7QT pan is a waste. I'd try 5.5 to 6max.
