Hey everybody, My bonehead question for the day: anybody know what gap to run on spark plugs for a 1970 383 4bbl? Do the new plugs come pre-gapped out of the box? Thanks in advance! PHM

I'm getting old. As such, I've seen a few things.
DO NOT EVER 'not' gap your plugs.

You might try .040". the stock ign can handle the increase in required voltage to jump this slightly larger gap & it gives a bigger spark "kernel" to light the mixture.
