going from carter 2bbl(BBD ) to holley 6oo(1850). do I need a diff throttle bracket or can I bend the 2bbl one? thank you for your time.

I used the stock bracket on a truck, I simply had to slide the throttle cable rear-ward a bit (it still clamped in place), and make a $0.10 modification to the KD linkage.

Same for my 64 Fury with a poly 318...

Yes, you'll need either a carb throttle arm bracket or you'll need to make a custom setup since the 4-bbl is narrower than the 4-bbl.

If you want proper throttle cable and kickdown rod/cable alignment, you should get a 4-bbl throttle cable bracket, too.

The only 4-barrel that I know of that will work with the 2-barrel linkage is a Holley.

not to mention the 4 barrel carb lever is farther forward than on a 2 bbl

pretty sure you need a new kick down arm too.

what I have now is the std (3) piece setup.

You can modify the 2 barrel bracket to work. It needs to be bent farther out and made longer. I had to do that to mine but already had the right rod.
