I love Mopars, taking a big block out in the middle of nowhere is the best stress reliever known to man ________________________________________________________________
Actually I would enjoy spending a little time with each man. I dont live or make a living out of Mopars. I sell PPG paint, and I promise not to ever again dog my wife for watching that darn Desperate Housewives for all its drama. I cant seem to stay off the site for more than 3 hrs without a craving to go back into this thread. ON another subject I cant wait for my Christmas present to arrive on UPS ground. I got myself all new wiring harnesses (well almost all) from YearOne. I always do this when I restore a car. Nothing wrong with my current harnesses, they are just not new....yuk yuk yuk
signed Drama King from Western Ky.
A YO harness is worth it's weight in gold.
You won't be disappointed.
moparts withdrawl is the worst. Good luck to you.
I would get some paint off you if my curennt supplier gave me fits.
Long live Mopars. Numbers matching, drivers, or rusted out parts cars.
J code all the way. Fake fender tags and all. Or Lynch Road to the bone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year to the numbers crowd and most of all Happy New Year to those that drive the crap out of cool Mopar Iron!

It has been bugging me. So I did a little digging. The OP had another user name, badchallenger. I looked it up & I had him set to ignore with that name also. I can not remember exactly why though? Nothing in his posts under that name triggered it that I can see, so it may have been something on another forum. If I find it, I'll report back. I did have an instant negative reaction to hearing his name on the phone though, so I know it was something. Maybe not from this site. A google search of his email address (with @ and at spelled out) revealed some, um, interesting hits though, I'll leave it at that.

Barry's above post (two above) really certifies the type of person he is...
He must have really got your panties crammed way up your crack because all you do is him .
get over it already rebodied barrelboy .
Though I do agree , he has info that belongs to the persons car , he should turn it over to him as the person is the legal owner , like the guy or not , just keep it noted that he has a car without an original broadcast sheet or fendertag .
I had a 69 A12 RR that Galen decoded the broadcast sheet , it spent so much time underwater you could only GUESS it was from that car as only some of the VIN was legible , not much else was. He made up a fendertag for it also , unfortunatly there was info on the tag that there was no way it could have been correct considering it's not documented anywhere .

I could say the same about your nose and his crack, but I refuse to sink to your level
For the record my car has reproduction tags supplied by Galen Govier on it
...and the originals sitting in my desk drawer
Alan you need a ladder to get to ascend to even document doctoring darryl's level.
If you had the original tags why would you need GG to supply you with new tags , no wonder you have so much invested in that rebody , you spent money unwisely .

He ""made up"" a fendertag for it also
Fixed it for ya John
That pretty much sums it up , and was a big reason why I ended up selling it. Though the rebody and fake document crowd would have swooned all over it .

To answer the original poster's question... A few weeks ago a customer of mine was looking to buy a T/A...I came on here looking for any info for the VIN I had...I was told "Barry" was "THE MAN" ...I try a couple of different venues to contact Barry.... The response I got from him was....He didn't like me, so he's not going to answer my emails or questions.... I never did find out if that particular T/A was listed or not...I really didn't pursue the fact, because my customer didn't buy it after all....He bought another T/A, this one is FJ6, and quite frankly I don't care if Mr. W has any info on it, and if my customer wants to share it with him, which is highly unlikely, then he will. I won't. If you have to set certain people on this web site to "ignore user" then you obviously can't handle being in a public forum..

Well, I do not have to, I just do.
It helps me keep track of the folks not to help.
I should just take notes I suppose.

Now, after 7 years, $22,000 and 3 years of work, and a successful test, the sheets are being flashed (shown, posted, presented, bragged about, touted, advertised?, boasted, waved, teased or something).
So, just to verify, they are not for sale? Or are they for sale?
As weird as it may seem, I did the "test" and made these for exactly the reason stated. I'm a little odd when it comes to challenges. The last crazy quest was spending 10 times more than I should have to restore a four door Valiant! I don't sell these and until threads like this show up, I almost forget that I even have them! They are insignificant pieces of paper, I don't need the money from selling them and the negative feelings that would come from distributing them is not worth it. I have more respect for the people that make up the Mopar hobby than to hurt anyone just to make a buck. I was actually given approval to market them but decided not to do so for that reason. (So much for being the "greedy vendor" I was accused of being here a couple of weeks ago!) You would be shocked to see the decals and products we have manufactured but never offered to the market. Those items would never cause negative feelings though!

So I did a little digging....revealed some, um, interesting hits though, I'll leave it at that.
Disclosure: I don't know Barry. I know nobody in this fight.
Barry, man, that is one cheap shot. And it's not that he was trying to buy a BCS for a car that wasn't his. It was the other stuff. Funny stuff, since he posts it publicly in plain sight, but still a way, way cheap shot.
Way cheap shot.
Maybe you just give the guy the sheets and walk away.
It's tough to defend principles here when you went for the cheap shot and took the matter to another whole level (and a mean level at that).
Maybe you step back, take a deep breath, and give the dude the sheets. Then maybe forget about it and continue with your usual good deeds.
