Cheap, That makes 2 with orange seats. I had a 71 Road Runner back in 1982. It was Hemi orange w/vinyl top. Had the orange inserts in the seats. Was a 383 4 speed car. Also came with the cassette recorder on the console. And had the black out trim on back bumper and gravel pan. Sold it in 83 to this guy that had it at a car show in Atlanta. Don't know where it went after that?

some call them "coke bottle" i like the "fuseloge" term...
those make some excellent cars...
you guys have some fine examples...
there was an orange, airgrabber, with orange interior..and the black stripe treatment..the one with the black stripes under the rear bumper.
it had a 6pac and 4spd..with the orange seats..
down the street from me...i havent seen it out in yrs...dont know if it he still has it..?
but ive only seen one with the orange seats..
and for that matter the black stripes under the back bumper...
was that common? it was a 71..fwiw..
cheapst

Here's a pic of a friend of mine's 71 taken last year at the race track. Has 16.5x31 hoosiers on it. I mini tubbed it and moved the springs in about 10 years ago.

( Edit ) Wrong pic. Dont look like the race track. lol

This one is a 71 Road Runner clone street car. I worked on it last year for a woman here in town. I Painted the engine compartment and did up a 440/727 for it.

PasiR do you think you will be able to install a rear seat with that tub setup?

After some modifications, it should be okay.

Yup. He ran around in Coquitlam with it when I first met him, the car has been in storage for years. It's a true local legend IMO.

How did he make the see through hood?

I've seen this done, use a large sheet of Plexiglas and warm it up with a torch in the center working too the outside. Using the stock hood as a template/mold coat it with PAM, butter flavor optional as a mold release. Lay the soft Plexiglas center over the hood and working the outside edges down with the torch and allow too cool.

In its soft state it will flow the trick is too move/work real fast, after its cooled mark the outside edges/border for trimming, gently pull and pry away, should come off if you laid a even amount of release agent(PAM). Trim the overhang/extra material, use Dawn dish soup with a clean rag too clean the underside and your done.
