Before this car gets restored, I'm going to have some fun living in the past.

I sold this car 10 years ago. I found it advertised on kijiji last spring in the same condition that I sold it. I just had to have it back again.

It's a 69 Coronet 500, H code 383 car, Y2 yellow, with green bucket seat interior. It's full of filler but nothing a few new panels won't fix. The original motor and tranny are long gone. I will get it running a drive it for a while before I restore it.

Not often you get to buy a previously owned car back So did ya have to shell out more than what you sold it for? Ha!

Very nice. I found myself in a similar situation this year. I found my 69 Bee from high school for sale after a 20 year seperation. In about the same shape it was in when I sold it. So I bought it back also. Currently getting the paint job I wanted to do back then. Good Luck with your project.

I have to agree, that is simply awesome and a great story for the resto when it starts. Enjoy the ride.

Oh, man. That is awesome that you got it back. I so wish I could find my '71 Superbee. I hated selling that car back around 1984.

The car looks cool as hell as it is. I like the idea of putting a motor and trans in it and just driving it for a bit.

Neat car and story. It's cool that you were able to get it back. That does not happen often. The Barracuda in my sig is a car I restored with my dad back in the mid 80s. I sold it a few years later and always felt bad about it. Several years ago I had the opportunity to buy it back and did. I'm looking forward to working on it and I bet you are excited to have yours back also.
