Actually I do fish almost every day. Have a single digit golf handicap as well. My anchors will probably outrun your customers. And who knows, when I get the last IED you sold me removed this winter, may outrun you! Then we will rename her from Sledphish to Flying Pig.....

Hey there Sledphish, anything pertaining to a sled should be sent to Sled City Fiberglass, up here in Columbus, Ohio, free of charge for use on the John Holt equipted 62 Plymouth station wagon called " WAR PIG ". Good luck next year with your Fish. Just kidding about the free stuff.

O.K SS/AH guys, Who is going to the Dutch? If the car count resembles Columbus I won't bother. Lets hope theres more than a dozen to make it worth taking off work and traveling. Start a list.

For sure:
Daniels
Hard
Wolk
Pancake
Comella
Hebert
Wendell Howes (Mark would bring the Dart if he could get an enclosed trailer ride back to CA)
CW
CWJ
Tuetons left cars in PA SO couple more there

Probables:

Baughman
Campbell
Perkins
Welker
Barton???
Jeff

Have no clue:
Bucky
Craft
Henson
Kent
Any West Coast folks

Sound like NFL roster press release.

Should be a great event with a new record in the "teens". (Not me with my anchors)

JB should be there, I sent his engine so he could get it last friday.
Henson, no
Perkins is still working on motor I heard.
We should leave weds, ran my car yesterday at 131, found a broken brake line from fire damage, took off the oil press line to make one half pass to see if hood was going to blow off. Track was loose for me.
We have dads car up on the hoist power washing it. It was due.
looks like the weather is getting better for this week.
What was the air like there this weekend, and what was the temp? I am trying to figure out what the air will be this week with 65 deg temp so I know what gear to run.

Look for the new driver this week, kinda muscular fellow,
Driving for his dad, ----- -------,
He will make his pop proud without a doubt.
Even mom Shirley will give him a shout.

DRC posted a contingency for the Hemi shootout:

Cam FX Lifters
$500
(Must use product and display decals)

Who sells them in the US? I see they are made down under and are used by many fuel and alcohol teams. Dyno

MOHNTON, Pa. - The HEMI Challenge at The Dutch promises to again be one of the quickest races for HEMI-powered Super Stock cars, including Darts and Barracudas.
With a guaranteed cash purse of $10,000, and thousands more from the contingency program, it is one of the richest HEMI races in the country. It will be run Saturday, Oct. 15 as part of the 40th annual NHRA Pennsylvania Dutch Classic at Maple Grove Raceway.

Last year's winner was Jim Daniels, a dentist from Yardley, Pa., who successfully defended his championship by defeating Gary Wolkwitz in his Ray Barton-powered Dart. His winning pass was 8.342 seconds at 159.42 mph.

Daniels will be back this weekend as will plenty of challengers in Wolkwitz, Charlie Westcott Sr., Charlie Westcott Jr., Tyler Hard, Wendell Howes, Bill Brooks and Mike Booker.

The Challenge will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday with eliminations through the afternoon. There will be Super Stock time shots on Thursday and Friday.

Racing in all classes begins Thursday and will run through Sunday. Gates open at 8 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

For more information, contact Maple Grove Raceway at (610) 856-9200 or visit www.maplegroveraceway.com.

No racing today "dew" to rain so 1 time trial in AM, make the ladder and "Choot Out". 17 cars I think. Should be fun.
