I personally never ran the car. The people that owned it before me and raced in in NHRA Div. 2 live in Panama City Fl. The pictures of it when it was white was after it had been retired as a SS car. The orange pic is the original color.

Did the car get restored?
I'm going to make my 71 R/T Challenger look similar with a little less rear tire.

It went to Canada and from what I understand it remains unchanged.

What size tyre can an E-Body take without tubbing?

I run 275 50 15 Hoosiers now buy when I change the car to a Hemi SS/BA style car I want to go way bigger in the diameter & as wide as I can go wthout tubbing the car.
I'm happy to use a spring relocating kit to get some extra tyre width if you guys think the bent hangers/shackles are safe, Cheers

I currently have 28x12.50's on my stock Challenger with no rubbing issues.
Installing a B body width rear end with Dr. Diff's offset hangers will get you a few inches with minimal effort....others just experiment.

I had a great day today, between mowing the lawns & other chores I had a couple of car guys come round to chew the fat & checkout my progress so I had the chance to open all the boxes that contain my Hemi parts & show them off.
I no sooner had them packed away again when another mate came round to visit with a bag full of DVD's & books on Super Stock & other drag cars so out came all the Hemi parts for the second time of the day before my neighbour arrived with a load of beer that needed dealt to.

We had a great Sunday afternoon talking cars & drinking beer but it all had to end as our Christmas/New Year break is over now & we have to go back to work for another year in less than 8 hours

Oh well we can't win them all so here are a few more pics that have inspired me.

Dragula,
This looks to be your Barracuda from years past. No shaker but the paint is basicly the same with a few updates. This pic was taken from an old Norwalk Program - can't find it now though. What do you think?

Here is the old Tom Fisher Barracuda - could be the same car with different paint but I think that this might be a different car - anyone know?

That is the same car with different paint job, Tom Fisher bought the car from Trippi Kling Performance in the 70's and then sold to Hemi Dave, then was sold to Darwin Oliver who passed away. I believe the car was then sold by his dad. Thanks / Gary
