How do you remove the wiper switch on a 1971-74 B-Body? I know it sounds stupid, but I found a B-body in a JY with 3 speed wipers. So I was going to grap the switch and motor to upgrade my car.

Make sure you get the linkage in the cowl also.
The two-speed drive arm and "transmission", as I believe it is called, are different than the three-speed.

How do you get the knob off? I already have the nut unscrewed and the harness plug off, but I can't get the knob to come off. Is there a trick to it? I couldn't find a button on the switch like the headlight switch has.

If it's a 71, there's an allen-head set screw on the underside of the knob that must be loosened in order to remove the knob.

The 71 setup looks like this, 2822289 Crank Arm and 3431102 Drive Link.

The 72 setup looks like this, 3431515 Crank Arm and 3431518 Drive Link.

The Crank Arms and Drive Links must be used as a matched set.

Knob is push-on fit to switch shaft, unlike headlight switch, which is integral to the shaft. Wiper knob is held on by spring clip integral to knob. Just pull it off the shaft. There is no release to the shaft from switch assembly like there is on the headlight switch.

Duffman, if you can't get the knob off, or just don't feel like going back to try again, I have a spare switch from a '73 you can use. Its from a 'standard' dash cluster.

PM me if interested.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!

If it is a ralley dash it IS NOT a push-on fit! it is as Charger440sixpak stated held on by small Allan head set screw.

The car in question is a non-ralley dash. I did look for a set screw and didn't see one. I did try simply pulling on it, but I didn't try to hard because I didn't want to break anything.
