Jamie called today and left a message... wonder what he wants? I called back and left a message, he was probably in the shop working.
Jamie - I joined the waiting list December 2010. We go to paint on this car as early as next week. September 2013 I was trying to get a firm grasp of a date because the car was finally in the shop and we needed to finish the fabrication work. Since I could not get a firm commitment at the time I was forced to make a decision. Unfortunately I could not continue to wait. After waiting three years, the answer always seemed to be that we were only a few months away. I understand all that went in to this on your side and do not harbor any ill will towards you and hope to do business with you in the future. I hope you feel the same way.
I can not say that I regret the decision, because I really like the way the car is turning out. I do regret that I can not continue on the list, please give my slot to the next guy in line. I could swing the transmission and keep it for the next project but that is not a good idea and is also not fair to all the others waiting.

What was your number on the list Michael?
Jamie opened the list on Dec 7th, 2010 at 7:26am and I was added to the list on Dec 13th, 2010 at 9:53am. What number that was maybe Jamie knows, I never asked.
Just know that you are now one spot closer!

Being 200 on the list, I fear my wait will be long. That's ok, as the 4spd. will do just fine until my turn comes up. Can't wait to hear this summer's reviews on the first installs.
I feel your pain....I am somewhere around 180 on the list...another summer in the 4 speed I guess.

Glad to see I am not alone in this wait.
I can live with the 4sp, its the 4:10 gears that make it tough.
plus I an going to need a new clutch in the near future, I am dreading pulling the trans twice.

The 4:10's are my problem too...lots of fun, but they are killing me on the highway

Yeah 3600 rpm at 55 mph is a killer. So much so that it keeps me close to home. I would like to drive my car to Spring Fling, but 75+ miles (one-way) at those rpms would kill me and the wallet.

I got on the list Dec 13th at 8:49am (when I received the pm from Jamie) and I am still patiently waiting, doing drag week last year with the 4:10's was trying at times to say the least but hopefully that will change in the next few weeks.

John, You shoulda answered your phone... You missed the call! Now you go to the bottom of the list!
I am just kidding. I left you a message. Its your time. Jamie
Thanks Jamie! The check is on its way with this mornings mail. All I need to do now is get my street twin freshened and put some 4.10's in the Dana.
This is going to be epic!
John,
It was good meeting you, and your Cuda, today at Spring Fling. We really enjoyed talking with you and looking over and in your car. Keep us informed on the 5sp, once you get it intalled.

Oh no! It was my pleasure. You guys were great! I will post some pics for sure.
Jamie got my check near the beginning of the month. Even though I am #18 on the list, I paid the current asking price. Not because he asked, but because he has done the seemingly impossible!
He was going to honor the initial price I was quoted way back when (a few hundred less), but he deserves to make his money back AND THEN SOME!!!!
When it arrives via truck freight, I will repost with pics, so all you Mopar lovers will see what you have been waiting so patiently for.
The only time delay for me will be that I am going to ship my Street Twin back to McLeod to be freshened. I already have the 18 spline disc, but want a fresh clutch with this 700+ hp six pack.
I consulted Dr Diff, and had him ship me a set of Spicer 3.73's for my Dana. This is going to be good.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)
