I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, but I believe it will be worth it. I for one am glad that you are to far in it, to give up. I will continue to wait patiently.

It was nice speaking with you at Columbus. I hope that the balance of this project goes smoothly. I would love to be able to buy one of these next Spring for my E-body.

i understand that issue. i cant even get machine shops to get my parts made on time and there simple! i hear the economy sucks but cant get any work out of anyone because they are so buisy , they say.

i am sure that even if it takes a long time yet there will still be a market. no one else is filling this need the way your transmission will so customers should still be there.
it takes balls to even attempt to do what you are doing, i hope it goes good for you .
i will keep saving cash until i can afford one and may be by then they will be ready. i have had my car for 20 years with a speed in it and i am not about to cut it up now, so i can wait

i have told a few of my customers about your transmission and i know they wont cut up those E bodys for a 5 speed, so may be i could get a few sold for you.

Well,
I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words. I just needed to be talked down off the ledge. Bad day. Anyway, I have no intention of quitting at this point. I can't quit at this point. We are too far into it. All I can do is trust that the market will still be there when it is ready.
Thanks,
Jamie

I am about to buy a 70 RR auto and can tell you I look forward to buying one of your 5 speeds. I feel your pain on waiting on machine shops. We are all with you.

Jamie, I'm really looking forward to the day you release the transmission. I know you probably can't answer this, but with the amount of attention this transmission has received, will you get back-ordered when you finally start selling this or will you be able to keep the production up?

I have another question that I couldn't find an answer to anywhere on various forums you have posted on.

Will it do really high rpm shifts? I know this has been mentioned as a problem on the TKO 600. The reason I ask is that I don't think the 650 ft-lb is gonna be a problem on my ride (small block) but I would like to be able to shift smoothly above 6500 rpm.

Looking forward to some more good news from you!

Oh ya, 5 speed wagon !!

I mostly enjoy golfing in the 70's.. The eighties are just too hot, and 60's I usually get chilly !!

Rumor from a couple of guys claiming to be somehow associated with Passon's at Fall Fling in LA; was that the tail shaft's porosity is the issue that's holding up the release. They claimed about 3 or 4 more months until they start shipping.

They explained that Jamie is working on applying a suitable internal coating that will eliminate any porosity related issues.

Having read for years about Jamie's reputation for perfection, I'm confident once it finally is released that it will be nothing short of well-refined and simply amazing.
