6pac, PRECISELY why we did this. We realize that there is no way that you guys are cutting the floor on an original A12 car or any other original car for that matter to put a Tremec in it.
and I'm stoked! I had planned on a PASSON 4 speed OD but now my Duster will be getting one of these for sure!
with Jamie and Scott! Some of us already have the 4 speed OD from Passon Performance. It might be time to do the 5 speed thing though...

x 3! We need to do a remake of the old Aerosmith song
Jamies got a gun. the other OD's are DONE!
Dang...now I'm gonna walk around all day with that song in my head. Somebody that's a little more Weird Al than me can finish it.

Is there going to be an application listed for the F-body and M-body crowd too? We like 5 speeds as much as the next guy.
that would use the same trans as an A-body

Jamie, Thanks for getting this to production, this rulz!!! How do we get on the short list to order one (an A-body version)? Please post the torque capacity and approximate pricing info as soon as you can. Time to start digging through the couch and skimming the kids' piggybanks to add to the project car 5spd slushfund!

Jamie, question for you. I will definately be purchasing one of these and probably two, (1 for superbird, 1 for challenger)but curious about the clutch set-up. Are you going to offer a hydraulic system with bellhousing or do I have to use all the mechanical likage? The challenger is an auto now but I am converting it over to a manual. It would make it so much easier not to have to weld a bracket on the frame and get all the z-bar stuff too. Plus a hydraulic would take up less space. Your thoughts?
When I die I want to go like my Grandfather did, quietly in his sleep. Not screaming like the passengers in his car.

Whoa! (rubbing eyes) Am I dreaming??? This is so cool. I had no idea Jamie was working on anything like this! So Jamie, answer PLEASE? Are you going to compete on pricing with the K-word 5 speed conversion package deal or will it likely be more because it is truly a direct fit? Seems like with all the goodies you have to buy to fit a k-word, it gives you some wiggle room on pricing. No offense to Mr. K. I just want to keep this from being a bashfest. A cool thing here is that I am collecting parts to swap to an A833 now. I can continue to do this knowing that at some point I can do a simple swap to the Passon 5 speed. Wow. Are the tailshafts all new or are you using factory stuff? How soon is Rick Ehrenberg getting a hold of one?
I’m listening.

I didn't even know this was in the works. The masses have been waiting for a direct bolt in 5-speed set-up for a long time and in about the same time frame it looks like we'll have two great choices, one from Passon and one from McLeod! I can't wait to see final specs and pricing. These transmissions will help ensure these old polluters remain on the road well into the future.

As 446 just said, F Body is the same as A Body.
I'd love to have one for the Dart I'm building in the spring and your local enough I can drive out and pick one up! SWEET!
Heck, I could drive out with the 4-speed and drive home with a 5-gear =)

The pictures I have seen of the McLeod do not lead me to believe it will be a direct bolt in like the Passon , plus it's a RACE box meaning I don't think it has syncros , not going to be street friendly .
Here is the Chrysler Box for an E body , That shifter rail that goes forward is right where the T bar Xmeber would be .

McLeod M-800Mcleod/Paul Lee interview videoI didn't realize the M-800 wasn't going to have synchros?!? The little bit I've seen online about this transmission was that it was suppose to be a "direct fit", as in not having to modify the cars panels to get it to work.
