Im calling this the start of my 71 Demon project simply because There is nothing left for me to take off this thing.Everything that goes back on this car will be new or custom made.Hope you all enjoy the progress of this build and looking forward to racing with you all next year.

along with all the sweat expended during the build back in the day when I had a car at that stage there was a big supermarket type scale hanging in the shop. every item got weighed and re inspected for possible reduction prior to installation. some times just shorted the bolts or excess length got cut off. I never kept any records but would like to think at the end my efforts were worth it .back then these were all mostly NHRA stock class rides and anything was a help. I wonder how comfortable those back seat cusions are today with over half the springs removed

Glad to see all the other Demon pics. There will be close attention paid to the weight of everything that goes in this car.Other than the 230# of dead weight behind the wheel.I welcome all your ideas and input as the build progress. As with any good build I will relay on some friends along the way to help reach our goals. Friends like Bobs Pro Fab,Vic Bloomer cylinder Heads,BPE crank shafts to start with. There is nothing I can't do myself but there is others that just do it better.

Hey I recognize that garage. It must be in for some special cage work and lightweight parts?

I've spent some long hours in that shop too. We never lacked for
a good meal though. I'm looking forward to seeing the Demon make
some hits next year.

Here's a couple of pictures of Strange/BobsProFab Dana 60 mock-up.

Looks like you're doing a first class job there! Looks beautiful, especially that bright red paint job!

Hitman, All that empty space up front and still going with a SB? A RB stroker would be an easy stuff.
