I'm taking my 360/727 from my Aspen wagon and going to put it in my '73 Satellite 318/904. Is there going to be a tranny mounting problem? Is the 727 longer than the 904? Thanks for any help I can get!!
If it's the original 727 to the Aspen, yes, it will be too short in the Satellite. A/F tailshafts are shorter on all manual and automatic transmissions.

The 727 is a '67 housing, was previously in my '71 Dodge Demon with 360, went to the Aspen w/360. SO< I'll have to get another tranny for this deal?

Sweet....if that is true, then I don't have to get another tranny. I'm not really worried about drive shaft length. Between the two I have, if it don't fit, there is always CUSTOM . Thanks for the help. I suspected it may be ok, the 727 went into the Aspen (where the original /6 904 resided) like a glove.
