If you have all the donor parts from the hardtop, it's a bolt in affair, the post is merely spot welded in place, the side glass from any 69-70 B-Body HARDTOP, including the Charger will interchange, the 68 B Body side glass has a much more narrow runner on the glass tracks, so avoid 68 componets, I recently converted a customers 69 post Coronet using 70 Charger regulators and side glass, including the vent window frames, you'll need to cut a "clearance" slot for the rear qtr windows to roll down in the upper door jamb on the post car, which is covered with the rear qtr window jamb gasket from the hardtop donor, simple surgery,....actually much easier to convert a post to hardtop, than visa/versa,...besides the hardtop IMHO is much more visually pleaseing on the eyes than a post model

Maybe O/T...maybe not?
I was actually considering converting my 1968 Charger over to a post. I think it would look great. Sure, it's a lot of work.
I was also considering a Charger 500 rear glass and trunklid to go with the post. Think: large chrome 500 A pillar covers, and large chrome B pillar covers - together. Cool.
Also, I was thinking about the 1966 Charger trunkwell for the spare, and the fold-down rear seats to go with it, removing the package tray for an open area.
Anybody done this?

No reson to do it . If you want a 23 , buy a 23. No need to "convert" a 21 to a 23. You would have to remove the B pillar , etc, it would be a major job, then you would end up with a car that you could never sell in the future because potential buyers would wonder why the VIN says RM21 , but no B pillar to be found. It would be assumed that the car was a rebody , because most people feel that nobody in their right mind would go through the trouble of converting a post car to a hardtop. Their are plenty of both to choose from , and no advantage or value diffrence from one to the other.

tell 'em what you really think, Greg! I tend to agree BTW.
