Working on my 68 road runner. I need to remove the driver side door vent window assembly to replace the glass. I have the two 7/16 head bolts out that hold the frame to the door shell and also the lower stud on the bottom of the door. Theres still one more bolt closer to the door glass on the top by the door glass track, but there is no way that i see to get to this bolt.

Is there a trick or am i misisng something? I did not remove the door glass or any regulators as i believe you do not have to?? Any of ya'll taken one of these out before?

If you are only replacing the vent glass it does not need to come out. take the hinge pivot screw out of the top and Tilt the old one out and slip the new glass into the channel.
If you are changing the door glass you will need to remove the pop in plastic plugs to access the hidden bolts and there is one hex head bolt under the tiny cone shaped plug near the top of the door.

sthemi is right, there is a small hole near the top of your door, the factory put a small plug in the hole, but they are usually missing. There is an allen-headed screw inside the door behind the hole. I don't remember exactly what size allen wrench you will need, but when you find it don't take it all the way out. It is just a clamp, so all you need to do is loosen it.
